NVIDIA GeForce Cup 2019: Asia-Pacific CS:GO Tournament
NVIDIA is hosting the GeForce Cup 2019, a premier esports tournament culminating in a grand final in Malaysia in January 2020. Eleven countries across Asia-Pacific will compete in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) for a prize pool of US$20,000 and other valuable prizes.
To determine which team will represent Vietnam in the GeForce Cup 2019 Grand Finals, NVIDIA Vietnam and Colorful, along with sponsors Cougar, Kingston, NZXT, Samsung, Razer, Rapoo, Thermaltake, and Viewsonic, are organizing the GeForce Cup 2019: Vietnam Qualifier.
GeForce Cup 2019 Vietnam Qualifier
The winning Vietnamese team will have all expenses paid for their trip to the Malaysian Grand Finals. Furthermore, all teams participating in the Vietnam Qualifiers, including the iCafe qualifying rounds and the National Finals, will compete for a share of the 100,000,000 VND prize pool, which includes both cash and prizes.
Vietnam Qualifier Details
Registration for the GeForce Cup 2019: Vietnam Qualifier opened on October 10, 2019, and will close on October 30, 2019. Gamers can register through participating NVIDIA-certified iCafes.
The qualifying rounds will take place from November 1, 2019, to December 8, 2019. These matches will determine the representative team from each participating iCafe. These teams will then advance to the regional semi-finals, divided into four regions: North, Central, South, and Southwest Vietnam. The top teams from these semi-finals will then compete in the National Finals on December 22, 2019.
Hundreds of gamers are expected to participate in the tournament, with thousands more fans following the action online through live streams of the iCafe matches and the National Finals. Commentators will provide expert analysis and exciting play-by-play coverage.
