NVIDIA Launches 25 New Turing-Powered Laptops at Computex 2019

At Computex 2019 in Taipei, NVIDIA and its partners unveiled 25 new laptops powered by Turing architecture GPUs, including the new RTX Studio line. This follows NVIDIA’s successful introduction of over 100 Turing-based laptops.

The RTX Studio laptops are designed for creative professionals, including content creators, advertisers, and 3D graphic designers, who require the powerful graphics processing capabilities of Turing architecture. These laptops excel in AI-powered applications and real-time ray tracing. They boast up to seven times the performance of current-generation Macbook Pros, enabling smooth gameplay in modern titles like Apex Legends and PUBG at over 100fps.

“Over the past few months, Turing GPUs have found their way into dozens of devices,” said Jeff Fisher, former Vice President of NVIDIA’s PC business. “This technological advancement allows us to create powerful yet thin and light laptops that cater to both gaming and creative needs.”

Of the 25 new laptops, 17 belong to the RTX Studio line. These laptops feature NVIDIA Quadro and RTX GPUs.

Familiar GPUs for gamers, like the RTX 2060, RTX 2070, and RTX 2080, will be available in these new laptops. Additionally, professional-grade Quadro RTX 5000, RTX 4000, and RTX 3000 GPUs will power the RTX Studio laptops, delivering exceptional performance for demanding creative workflows.

Partners such as Dell, HP, Acer, MSI, and ASUS will release RTX Studio laptops starting in June. These laptops are poised to revolutionize creative workflows with their powerful GPUs, enabling faster rendering, smoother performance, and enhanced capabilities for AI-driven tasks.

Furthermore, gaming laptop manufacturers like ASUS, HP, and MSI also announced new Turing-based laptops with advanced display technology, boasting resolutions up to 4K and refresh rates of 120Hz. These high-end displays will offer gamers incredibly immersive and responsive gaming experiences.

These advancements in both creative and gaming laptops highlight NVIDIA’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation. The new laptops offer a wide range of options for users, catering to both professional and entertainment needs.

In conclusion, NVIDIA’s announcement at Computex 2019 signifies a significant step forward in laptop technology. The new Turing-powered laptops, particularly the RTX Studio line, empower creative professionals and gamers with unprecedented performance and capabilities. The availability of these laptops from major manufacturers starting in June promises a new era of mobile computing.
