Logitech G has reintroduced its iconic G502 gaming mouse to the market with a redesigned and upgraded series: the Logitech G502 X. This highly anticipated release features three versions: the wired G502 X, the wireless G502 X LIGHTSPEED, and the wireless G502 X PLUS, catering to a wide range of gamer preferences and needs.

All three G502 X models share a refined design philosophy. Logitech G has implemented a thinner outer shell to reduce weight while maintaining durability. The weight of the G502 X series ranges from 89g to 106g, remarkably light for modern gaming mice. Further enhancing customization, the DPI-shift button cover is removable and replaceable, allowing for a more personalized fit based on hand size and grip style. Crucially, the G502 X retains the beloved dual-mode hyper-scroll wheel and ratchet scrolling of its predecessor. The wireless versions, G502 X LIGHTSPEED and G502 X PLUS, also feature a convenient USB Type-C charging port.

Innovative LIGHTFORCE Switches and HERO 25K Sensor

The G502 X series introduces Logitech G’s new LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches. These switches combine the speed and reliability of optical actuation with the crisp, tactile feedback of mechanical switches. Paired with the high-precision HERO 25K gaming sensor, the G502 X delivers 1:1 tracking accuracy, eliminating smoothing, filtering, and acceleration for unparalleled precision.

Enhanced Wireless Connectivity for LIGHTSPEED Models

Logitech G has updated the LIGHTSPEED wireless protocol for the G502 X LIGHTSPEED and G502 X PLUS, enabling users to connect an additional LIGHTSPEED device using a single USB receiver. This convenient feature is accessible through the G HUB software’s Device Pairing Tool. Users will need to update their G HUB software to the latest version to utilize this functionality.
