The Beauty of X Power, a popular PC building and modding competition, is returning at the end of 2018 with a fresh new theme: “Creative Colors.” This exciting event promises to showcase some of the most impressive and innovative PC builds in Vietnam, highlighting both monochrome and RGB aesthetics. The offline events are scheduled for December 22nd in Ho Chi Minh City and December 29th in Hanoi.

This year’s competition is sponsored by major industry players including ASUS, GIGABYTE, Western Digital, Corsair, Thermaltake, and Samsung V-Nand SSD, in partnership with high-end PC retailers across the country. The “Creative Colors” theme will pit two distinct modding styles against each other: Monochrome and RGB. These two popular aesthetics offer unique approaches to PC customization, allowing builders to express their creativity through contrasting color palettes and lighting effects.

The competition aims to provide a platform for PC enthusiasts to showcase their skills and ingenuity. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of PC hardware and design, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in PC modding. Whether it’s the sleek minimalism of monochrome builds or the vibrant dynamism of RGB lighting, “Creative Colors” promises a diverse and captivating display of PC artistry.

The judging process will incorporate both audience participation and expert evaluation. Attendees at the offline events will contribute 50% of the final score through their votes. The remaining 50% will be determined by a panel of esteemed Pro Modders: Nhện Hổ Phách from Modding Café, Mai Trung Dung from WCG, and Quách Vinh (VDZ). These judges will assess the builds based on key criteria including aesthetics, design concept, complexity, and overall execution.

With a total prize pool of 130 million VND (Vietnamese Dong), the second season of The Beauty of X Power offers participants the chance to win exclusive and valuable prizes provided by Intel and its partners. Beyond the competition itself, attendees can look forward to engaging with representatives from sponsoring companies and retailers, gaining insights into the latest PC hardware and technologies.

The offline events will also feature various interactive activities and giveaways, providing attendees with ample opportunities to win additional prizes.
