Bridgestone Launches “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top” Esports Event with Forza Motorsport

Bridgestone Asia Pacific, India, and China (BSAPIC), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, has partnered with Forza Motorsport to launch its first online esports racing event, “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top.” This marks a pioneering collaboration between a major tire manufacturer and Forza Motorsport, one of the world’s leading racing simulation games. Participants will compete in the Lamborghini Huracán STO on the iconic Hakone Grand Prix circuit within the latest installment of the Forza Motorsport series.

From June 20th to July 10th, 2024 (UTC), eligible players can participate in “Bridgestone Rivals: Race to the Top,” unlock the exclusive “Bridgestone Racing Suit,” and compete for the top spot to win attractive prizes worth approximately $800 USD. Racers will tackle the virtual Hakone Grand Prix circuit, a renowned motorsport haven, suitable for all skill levels and boasting breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. Surrounded by the stunning Japanese countryside on the shores of Lake Ashi, the track offers a mix of high-speed straights, sweeping corners, and technically challenging sections. Final rankings will be based on the fastest lap times recorded in each participating region, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and South Korea.
