The Expert Challenge 2020, a tech-focused gameshow sponsored by Intel and partners Asus, Corsair, Gigabyte AORUS, Noctua, ViewSonic, and WD, has announced its second season’s theme: “Workstation.” This theme will serve as the central challenge for this year’s PC building competition.

The qualifying round consists of two parts: a 50-minute theoretical exam and a 150-minute practical building challenge. To assist participants, the organizers have enlisted five experts with over 15 years of experience in their respective fields. These experts include Nguyen Dinh Ban (nhenhophach) specializing in setup, Le Duy Thanh focusing on system optimization, Phuoc Nguyen IAE specializing in components, and Huy Nguyen and Dexter Nguyen, both experienced in workstation technology applications.

Qualifying Rounds and Expert Support

The initial qualifying round, open to the VGS community and independent competitors, is scheduled for September 13, 2020. Prior to this, an online multiple-choice test will be held on September 6, 2020, to select the top eight participants who will advance to the practical round in Ho Chi Minh City.

Competition Format and Registration

The competition format mirrors a televised gameshow, designed to engage a broad audience. The “Workstation” theme challenges contestants to demonstrate their expertise in building and optimizing high-performance workstations, utilizing components from the sponsoring brands.
