ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate in Vietnam at the ROG Phone 7 – Vietnam Championship 2023 event. These cutting-edge gaming smartphones promise to redefine mobile gaming with their powerful specifications and innovative features.

Unleashing Unprecedented Power and Performance

The ROG Phone 7 series is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, boasting a 15% performance boost and 15% power efficiency improvement over its predecessor. Paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 8533 Mbps and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, twice as fast as UFS 3.0, these phones deliver blazing-fast speeds. The Armoury Crate performance management software offers granular control over performance settings and fine-tuning options.

Advanced Cooling System for Extended Gameplay

The enhanced GameCool 7 cooling system efficiently cools the CPU from all directions. A Boron Nitride (BN) thermal compound on one side of the CPU prevents overheating during short gaming sessions. For medium-length gameplay, the Rapid-Cycle vapor chamber and graphite sheet on the other side dissipate heat. During extended gaming sessions, the AeroActive Cooler 7, with its AI-powered active cooling system and thermoelectric Peltier cooler, takes over.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate takes cooling further with the AeroActive Portal. This automatically opens when the AeroActive Cooler 7 is attached, channeling cool air directly onto the vapor chamber’s fins. This reduces SoC heat, boosting performance and battery life. With the AeroActive Portal activated, thermal efficiency increases by up to 20%.

Immersive Visuals and Audio

The ROG Phone 7 series features a 165Hz Samsung AMOLED display with a 720Hz touch sampling rate and Delta-E < 1 color accuracy, delivering smooth, vibrant visuals. The dual front-facing 12 x 16 mm speakers provide 50% louder volume and 20% stronger bass. Combined with the AeroActive Cooler 7’s 13 x 38 mm, 5-magnet super linear subwoofer, the phones offer a unique 2.1 sound experience.

Enhanced Gaming Features and Software

The renowned AirTrigger ultrasonic buttons return, offering console-like control with various gestures, including Dual Partition, Press, Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming. Ten motion controls and an X-axis linear motor provide immersive haptic feedback. Vibration mapping enhances the touch experience with haptic feedback for on-screen virtual buttons.

New software features further elevate the gaming experience. X Sense detects crucial on-screen events, like new targets or approaching enemies, with pop-up notifications. X Capture uses AI to automatically record memorable moments, such as enemy eliminations or victories. Background mode allows continuous gameplay even with the screen off or while using other apps, supporting auto-battle and macro features.

Pricing and Availability

The ROG Phone 7 (16GB/512GB) is priced at VND 24,990,000. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate (16GB/512GB) comes with the AeroActive Cooler 7 included and is priced at VND 29,990,000. ASUS ROG has also partnered with Hoyoverse, and all ROG Phone 7 devices sold in Vietnam will come pre-installed with Genshin Impact.
