Lexar, a leading brand in memory solutions, has announced the launch of its THOR OC DDR5 desktop memory. Inspired by the mighty Thor’s hammer, this memory boasts a robust, monolithic aluminum heat spreader designed to handle the rigors of overclocking with superior heat dissipation.

The Lexar THOR OC DDR5 desktop memory achieves speeds of up to 6000MT/s with low latency of CL32, delivering a true next-generation experience. Its low-profile design makes it ideal for compact PC builds. It also supports both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technologies and is compatible with most DDR5 motherboards.

Built-in on-die ECC enhances stability and reliability, while the integrated power management IC (PMIC) improves power efficiency. For users with DDR4 systems, Lexar also offers the THOR OC DDR4 desktop memory. This memory delivers performance at 3200MHz and CL16 latency, designed for enthusiasts and gamers. It features a stylish aluminum heat spreader to keep systems cool and is compatible with Intel XMP 2.0 and AMD Ryzen.

Availability and Configurations

The THOR OC DDR5 memory is expected to be available in October 2023 in a 32GB (2 x 16GB) kit with 5600MT/s and 6000MT/s speed options. The THOR OC DDR4 memory will be available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities.
