MSI, a leading global brand in gaming laptops, content creation, and business & productivity solutions, showcased its latest generation of AI+ laptops at COMPUTEX 2024. Powered by the newest processors from both Intel® and AMD, these laptops boast AI computing capabilities of up to 100 TOPS and support over 500 AI models optimized for Intel® Core™ Ultra processors. This lays a robust foundation for the growth of AI PCs, supporting a broader range of AI models and architectures than any other processor manufacturer. When paired with GeForce RTX Laptop GPUs, the computing power can reach up to 542 TOPS, delivering peak performance and a more immersive AI experience.

MSI also introduced the Claw 8 AI+, a Windows 11 handheld gaming PC powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra processor (codenamed “Lunar Lake”). Featuring an 8-inch display, the Claw 8 AI+ promises a smooth and rich mobile gaming experience.

Beyond its in-house developments, MSI also unveiled several collaborative products. These include the Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport and Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport, developed in partnership with the renowned high-performance luxury car brand Mercedes-AMG, and the Claw Fallout Limited Edition, created in collaboration with the popular PC game Fallout. These products target premium car enthusiasts and gamers worldwide.

MSI also launched a new version of its Modern laptop series, optimized for office workers and students seeking high portability.

In addition to new product announcements, MSI proudly announced that its ultra-lightweight 16-inch laptop, the Prestige 16 AI Evo, and the Claw handheld gaming PC won the 2024 COMPUTEX BC Award. The Prestige 16 received the Gold Award for its exceptional mobility and was recognized by the BC Award judges as one of the best products in the Computer & Systems category.

MSI Prestige & Summit: Leading AI+ Laptops for Business & Productivity, Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors (Codenamed “Lunar Lake”)

At COMPUTEX 2024, MSI introduced its leading AI+ laptops for business and productivity – the Prestige and Summit series – equipped with Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (codenamed “Lunar Lake”). Compared to the previous generation, these new processors offer up to three times the AI processing performance. Furthermore, thanks to the integration of GPU, CPU, and NPU, the AI computing performance reaches 100 TOPS, enabling users to run more AI software and services directly on their laptops. Combined with software and services from over 100 independent developers optimized for these processors, users will immediately benefit from an enhanced experience.

These processors are also optimized for over 500 AI models, making them an ideal platform for developing AI-related services. Besides their leading AI processing capabilities, the new Core™ Ultra processors (“Lunar Lake”) also offer excellent power efficiency, allowing for thinner, lighter, and longer-lasting business and productivity laptops, such as the Prestige and Summit series.

The Prestige series is available in 13, 14, and 16-inch display sizes. In addition to the latest processors, the Prestige series boasts an ultra-lightweight chassis, large battery capacity, and long battery life. For instance, the Prestige 13 AI+ Evo weighs only 990g but has a 75Wh battery, providing all-day use without recharging. Furthermore, the entire Prestige series has been upgraded with a 5-megapixel webcam for improved image quality during live streams and online meetings.

The Summit 13 AI+ Evo, another member of the business and productivity lineup, is now equipped with the Intel® Core™ Ultra processor (“Lunar Lake”), an ultra-lightweight chassis, comprehensive security features, and the MPP 2.6-compliant MSI Pen 2. This makes it one of the most versatile 13-inch convertible laptops available.

MSI also introduced the world’s first thin and light 16-inch gaming and content creation laptops – the Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ – combining next-generation AI technology with gaming and creative capabilities. The AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 series processors feature the latest architecture, integrated graphics, and NPU, delivering exceptional processing performance, stunning visuals, and impressive AI computing power.

In terms of AI computing, the new XDNA 2 architecture provides up to three times the performance compared to the previous generation, allowing users to run generative AI or large language models directly on their laptops. The integrated Radeon™ 800M series graphics boasts up to 33% more graphics cores than the previous generation, ensuring smooth gaming even on thin and light laptops. The processor utilizes the Zen 5 architecture, supporting up to 12 large cores and up to 50% more on-chip memory than previous products, providing top-of-the-line processing capabilities.

The Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ are also equipped with the latest NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 40 series graphics cards, delivering cutting-edge AI computing capabilities. Designed for the age of AI, GeForce RTX™ features dedicated Tensor Cores for AI, providing exceptional performance and groundbreaking features. Users can enjoy exclusive AI features that transform how they work and play. Besides the new processors and powerful AI processing capabilities, both the Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ feature an ultra-lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy chassis, powerful Cooler Boost 5 cooling, and a wide array of ports. These features allow these 16-inch ultra-lightweight laptops to balance all needs, catering to both gaming and content creation. In addition to the gaming and content creation lines, MSI also introduced the Summit A16 AI+ and Prestige A16 AI+ business & productivity laptops featuring AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors. Claw 8 AI+: The First Windows 11 Handheld Gaming PC Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra (“Lunar Lake”)

Since its launch at CES, MSI’s Claw handheld gaming PC has garnered significant attention. Building on this success, MSI introduced the first Windows 11 handheld gaming PC powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra processor (“Lunar Lake”) – the Claw 8 AI+ – at COMPUTEX. This product continues to be a focal point for handheld gaming enthusiasts worldwide.

In addition to improved power efficiency thanks to the new processor, MSI has actively listened to user feedback and upgraded hardware specifications. This includes an additional USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support, increased LB/RB button responsiveness, larger battery capacity, and a lighter wall-mounted charger. The Claw 8 AI+ is expected to be the most advanced 8-inch handheld gaming PC on the market. Upon its official release, the device will come with a one-month Xbox Game Pass trial, allowing users to experience the latest AAA games.

Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport & Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport: The Fusion of Powerful Performance and Premium Style

Last year, MSI became an official partner of the globally renowned high-performance luxury car brand Mercedes-AMG, resulting in the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. To commemorate the one-year anniversary of this partnership, the two leading premium brands have collaborated to launch the Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport and upgrade the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. These laptops promise to be exceptional machines for high-performance car enthusiasts and gamers worldwide.

The design of the Stealth 18, a joint effort by MSI and Mercedes-AMG design teams, incorporates numerous motorsport-inspired symbols, such as the AMG rhombuses pattern across the palm rest, exclusive nameplates from MSI and AMG, and the Mercedes-AMG Motorsport logo throughout. The lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy chassis further emphasizes the luxurious style and powerful performance. The Stealth 18’s performance is comparable to the Mercedes-AMG GT2 race car: with the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 185H processor and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4080 graphics card, combined with a large vapor chamber cooler, gamers can focus on achieving victory in the virtual battlefield.

Claw x Fallout Limited Edition: Welcome to the Post-Apocalyptic World

MSI and renowned game studio Bethesda have collaborated to launch the Claw x Fallout Limited Edition at COMPUTEX. The entire exterior design is inspired by the Vaults, the Pip-Boy devices worn by Vault dwellers, and robots – a must-have for Fallout fans and gamers in general.
