ASUS Launches Affordable ProArt Series for Content Creators
ASUS recently unveiled its new ProArt series, a range of products designed specifically for content creators. Unlike previous generations, which focused on high-end studio and enterprise users, this new lineup emphasizes affordability, making it more accessible to individual creators. While maintaining a more budget-friendly price point, the new ProArt products retain the series’ core values: Absolute Precision, Maximum Performance, Extensive Connectivity, and Unwavering Stability.
ProArt Monitors: PA248QV and PA278QV
Departing from the premium, high-priced MiniLED displays showcased at ASUS Expo 2019, ASUS now offers the PA248QV and PA278QV, two significantly more affordable monitors tailored for individual content creators.

These tools allow creators to accurately assess and compare colors directly on screen, eliminating the need for time-consuming test prints. The PA248QV offers a 1920×1200 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio for increased vertical workspace. The PA278QV, on the other hand, provides a larger display with a standard 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1440p resolution.

Key features include support for up to three full-speed PCI Express 16x slots, a dedicated ASUS-manufactured 10G LAN card, and a versatile Thunderbolt 3 port. Uniquely, the ProArt motherboard allows video output through the Thunderbolt 3 port, bypassing the graphics card, a feature not typically found on traditional motherboards. This offers seamless compatibility with modern design monitors, providing both data transfer and power delivery through a single cable.
Currently, ASUS is offering a promotion: purchasing a ProArt monitor or control panel comes with a free Wacom Intuos S drawing tablet.
