BlueStacks X Launches as the World’s First Cloud-Based Mobile Gaming Platform
BlueStacks, the leading platform for playing Android games on PC, has announced the beta release of BlueStacks X, the world’s first cloud-based gaming platform dedicated to mobile games. This groundbreaking platform is available across a wide range of devices, including Windows 10 and 11, Mac, iOS, Android, Chromebook, and even Raspberry Pi. BlueStacks X stands out as the only cloud gaming service currently offering free streaming of mobile games across this extensive array of platforms and devices.

This innovative service leverages hybrid cloud technology developed in partnership with now.gg, a sister company of BlueStacks. This technology optimizes content and graphics delivery to end-user devices, significantly reducing cloud costs and enabling the free service for users. Importantly, the technology operates seamlessly without requiring any integration from game developers.
BlueStacks X is accessible through mobile browsers on iOS, Android, Windows 11, Mac, Chromebook, and select smart TVs. A dedicated BlueStacks X client app is also available for Windows 11, Windows 10, and older Windows versions. Existing users of the BlueStacks App Player can also access the service.
“With the BlueStacks App Player recently surpassing 1 billion downloads, BlueStacks X was a natural next step,” stated Rosen Sharma, CEO of BlueStacks Inc. “We are a trusted partner for many leading mobile game developers, and they are excited about BlueStacks X and other innovations we are bringing, such as Discord integration.”
The beta version of BlueStacks X launches with a library of over 200 games, with new titles being added weekly. The platform boasts a strong collection of RPG and strategy games, with plans to expand into other genres over time.
