More Than Just a Larger 4000D

Corsair has adopted a “one type fits all” design philosophy in recent years, creating a base chassis that can be adapted into various specialized versions. The 5000 series follows this approach, sharing design elements with the 4000 series but incorporating significant improvements.

The 5000D Tempered Glass boasts a larger footprint compared to standard mid-tower cases, providing abundant space for component installation. This generous interior easily accommodates large components, such as 360mm AIO coolers like the Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT, with a push-pull configuration without any clearance issues.

Unlike the Airflow variant, the 5000D Tempered Glass features solid metal panels on the front and top instead of perforated panels. These panels are easily removable via a convenient clip mechanism, facilitating quick access to the interior.

Design and Features

The side panel features a vented section with a dust filter, similar to the Airflow version. Behind this vent is a hinged door, providing excellent cable management and a clean aesthetic.
