GALAX Microsystems, a leading manufacturer of NVIDIA-based graphics cards, SSDs, DRAM, and gaming peripherals, announced its participation in COMPUTEX 2018 in Taipei. Known for its high-performance Hall of Fame (HOF) series, GALAX continues to push the boundaries of gaming hardware. At COMPUTEX 2018, GALAX unveiled a range of new products and initiatives, including new SSDs, RAM, and the launch of its new gaming peripherals brand, XANOVA.

GALAX SSDs and Memory Innovations

GALAX presented two new SSD lines, the GAMER RGB SSD and the ONE series. The GAMER RGB SSD features a striking design, with an ELGS (Electric Light Guide Stick) layer and RGB LEDs illuminating the front, top, and sides of the metal casing.

The GALAX ONE series SSD boasts a clean white aesthetic and focuses on performance and reliability. Utilizing Toshiba BiCS3 3D 64Layer TLC NAND Flash and the Phison PS3111-S11 controller, the ONE series promises impressive speeds and durability.

In the memory department, GALAX introduced the Gamer III RGB RAM, addressing compatibility issues common with RGB control software. The new GALAX Aurora Vision software allows for seamless RGB customization across different motherboards.

GALAX also showcased the HOF II RAM, the latest iteration of their flagship memory modules. Built with high-performance Samsung B-Die chips, the HOF II promises exceptional speed and stability, complemented by vibrant RGB lighting.

GALAX Expands into Peripherals with XANOVA

A significant announcement at COMPUTEX 2018 was the launch of XANOVA, GALAX’s new brand dedicated to gaming peripherals. The XANOVA lineup includes the Mensa gaming mouse, Magnetar and Pulsar mechanical keyboards, Juturna and Ocala gaming headsets, and Deimos and Phobos mousepads. This expansion marks GALAX’s entry into a new market segment, offering gamers a complete ecosystem of GALAX products.

GALAX also displayed a range of graphics cards, including the EXOC White, EXOC SNPR, and HOF series. Furthermore, various SSD models were presented, such as the HOF, Gamer L, and M.2 series.

To showcase the power of its hardware, GALAX hosted a World Record Breaking Overclocking Performance competition featuring renowned overclockers Duck (Japan), Micka (China), and ZeR0 Dan (China). The company also debuted its new line of gamer-focused apparel and hosted live streams with popular Taiwanese streamers.
