MSI B560 Memory Try It! Overclocking Competition Concludes with Impressive Results

MSI, a leading global motherboard manufacturer, recently concluded its B560 Memory Try It! DDR4 overclocking competition. The competition drew over 100 entries from more than 20 countries and regions, showcasing the impressive overclocking capabilities of MSI’s B560 motherboards paired with high-performance DDR4 memory. Participants competed for prizes including the Optix MAG274QRF-QD gaming monitor, the MAG CH130 X gaming chair, and the MPG CORELIQUID K360 liquid cooler.

The Intel 500 series chipset marks the first time Intel has enabled memory overclocking on its B-series motherboards. This allows users to significantly improve system performance, including noticeable FPS gains in games.

Furthermore, MSI’s exclusive “Memory Try It!” feature, integrated into the BIOS, simplifies memory tuning. Users can easily achieve higher frequencies without manually adjusting complex parameters like timings and voltages. This competition marks MSI’s first foray into hosting a DDR4 overclocking competition for non-professional users, and the B560 Memory Try It! proved a resounding success.

To ensure broader accessibility, MSI limited the use of advanced cooling methods. This allowed a wider range of users to participate and learn about the relationship between memory frequency and real-world DDR4 performance.

While the B560 Memory Try It! wasn’t a top-tier overclocking competition, with CPU temperatures restricted to no lower than 25°C, participants still achieved remarkable results.
