MSI has officially announced the Claw, the world’s first handheld gaming PC powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra processor, at CES 2024. Featuring an ARC™ graphics card with up to 8 Xe cores and advanced XeSS technology, the Claw promises a smooth gaming experience across a wide range of AAA titles. The device also boasts a HyperFlow cooling system, a 53Wh battery, and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.

Intel Core Ultra Processor and Advanced Graphics

The Core™ Ultra processor features a new silicon architecture, enhanced AI processing capabilities, and impressive integrated ARC™ graphics with up to 8 Xe cores. This configuration delivers up to double the performance of the previous generation. Powered by XeSS upscaling technology, ARC™ enables smooth gameplay at 1080p resolution with medium settings. The SoC also includes a media engine supporting advanced video codecs like AV1, H.265, and VP9, allowing for high-quality streaming with minimal resource consumption.

The MSI Claw represents a breakthrough in gaming technology. With the Intel Core™ Ultra processor and Intel XeSS technology, in-game FPS is high enough for smooth gameplay, even with demanding AAA titles.
