ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the ROG Phone HIU Young League 2022, an Arena of Valor tournament specifically designed for high school and university students in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This exciting event reflects the growing popularity of esports among students, complementing official publisher-led tournaments with vibrant, student-organized competitions.

Tournament Structure and Prizes

Partnering with Hong Bang International University (HIU), ESCA Vietnam, and Mot Game, ROG has structured the HIU Young League 2022 into two divisions: the Campus League for university students and the Junior League for high school students. With a total prize pool of 60,000,000 VND, the competition promises to be fierce. The ROG Phone 6, a high-performance gaming phone, will serve as the official device for the tournament.

The ROG Phone 6 boasts powerful hardware and a smooth display, offering a competitive edge to gamers. HIU Young League 2022 Schedule and Locations

The tournament schedule is as follows:

Campus League Format

The Campus League will feature 16 university teams selected through qualifying rounds held at 16 universities and colleges across Ho Chi Minh City. These teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket, with the top two teams advancing to face two teams from Hong Bang International University.

Junior League Format

Running concurrently with the Campus League is the Junior League, a new arena for high school Arena of Valor teams. Over 200 teams will compete across eight district-based qualifiers on Sunday, November 20, 2022, vying for a spot in the Grand Finals.

Grand Finals and Side Events

The grand finals of the ROG Phone HIU Young League 2022 will be held at Hong Bang International University, in an auditorium with a seating capacity of 500. In addition to the exciting Campus League and Junior League final matches, attendees can participate in various side activities, receive attractive prizes from sponsors, and meet professional Arena of Valor players.
