Embracing the Challenge

“For Those Who Dare” stars ROG ambassadors Asa Butterfield, Nyjah Huston, Karl-Anthony Towns, Alan Walker, and newest addition, Son Heung-Min. The London shoot, facilitated by production company “The Mill,” incorporated practical effects, including a gasoline-powered fire ring and a skateboard jump over a seven-foot barbed wire fence. These scenes symbolize the ambassadors’ willingness to confront and overcome obstacles to achieve success.

Tailored Technology for Every Gamer

ROG designs products specifically for gamers, recognizing that individual needs vary. This is reflected in the personalized product pairings with each ambassador, including Karl-Anthony Towns with the ROG Strix SCAR, Nyjah Huston with the ROG Strix G, Asa Butterfield with the ROG Flow Z13, Alan Walker with the ROG Zephyrus G14, and Son Heung-Min with the ROG Flow X16.

Butterfield stated, “I always look for cutting-edge technology and ROG is at the forefront, innovating every year.” This exemplifies ROG’s commitment to providing a suitable gaming laptop for every style and need.

Logistical Triumph and Daring Performances

Coordinating the schedules of five global ambassadors for filming in London presented a significant logistical challenge. With Son Heung-Min and Asa Butterfield residing in the UK, and Nyjah Huston and Karl-Anthony Towns on off-season breaks, the primary hurdle was securing Alan Walker amidst his demanding tour schedule.

Fear proved to be merely an obstacle for these international stars. All stunts, including the fire ring and barbed wire jump, were performed without stunt doubles. Huston commented, “I love these types of shoots where I can showcase my best. Partnering with a brand like ROG, which embodies a dare-to-do spirit, aligns with my own goals.”

Collaboration with Award-Winning Production Team

Recognizing the ambitious scale of the project, ROG collaborated with “The Mill,” a global creative partner known for its expertise in visual effects, creative production, and user experience. The Mill’s impressive portfolio includes the Academy Award-winning film “Gladiator.”
