This innovative drive empowers businesses to efficiently collect and analyze real-time data, facilitating facial recognition, threat detection, and license plate recognition. SkyHawk AI is also one of the few hard drives supporting deep learning and machine learning applications, thanks to its integrated ImagePerfect AI firmware and support for 32 simultaneous AI streams.

This new hard drive, similar to the Exos X18 18TB and IronWolf NAS, offers a maximum capacity of 18TB, addressing the increasing storage demands of data centers and modern businesses. While employing a traditional HDD design, the Seagate SkyHawk AI is engineered for a workload rating of 550TB/year (ten times that of a standard hard drive). It supports storage arrays with up to 16+ bays, utilizes Helium technology, and incorporates RV Sensors to enhance system longevity and stability in demanding surveillance environments.
