Hyper Scape, a new free-to-play first-person shooter battle royale game, has been officially announced by Ubisoft. Coming to PC, Xbox One, and PS4, Hyper Scape promises a fast-paced, innovative take on the genre.

Set in the virtual reality world of Neo-Arcadia in the year 2054, Hyper Scape centers around a high-stakes competition called Crown Rush. 100 players, divided into squads of three, battle it out in this futuristic urban arena.

Unlike traditional battle royale games, Hyper Scape introduces a unique gameplay mechanic: Hack abilities. Players collect Hacks throughout the match, similar to acquiring weapons. These Hacks offer a wide range of tactical options, from teleportation and invisibility to deploying protective walls and laying down mines.

Combining weapon proficiency with strategic Hack usage is crucial for success. Mastering both will give players a significant edge in the intense firefights that define Crown Rush.

Another innovative feature is the revival system. When a teammate falls, they become an Echo. While in this state, they can still scout for enemies and provide valuable intel. Teammates can revive fallen comrades at designated Restore Points scattered throughout the map.

The climax of each Crown Rush match revolves around the appearance of the Crown. This coveted prize signals the final showdown.

There are two ways to claim victory: hold the Crown for 45 seconds, or be the last squad standing. Both require skill, strategy, and a bit of luck.

Hyper Scape also integrates with Twitch, offering viewers a chance to earn rewards while watching livestreams. This interactive element adds another layer of engagement for both players and spectators.

PC players can expect a technical test in the near future, with full releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One to follow.
