VCS Summer 2020 Roster Updates: GAM, Team Flash, and EVOS Esports Prepare for Battle

The Vietnam Championship Series (VCS) Summer 2020 is fast approaching, and three of the top four teams from the Spring Split – GAM Esports, Team Flash, and EVOS Esports – have unveiled their rosters. After a disappointing performance at the Mid-Season Cup 2020, these teams are eager to prove their mettle and reclaim their dominance in the VCS. Each team has made strategic changes, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive summer split.

GAM Esports faces a challenging rebuild after parting ways with several key players, including Blazes, Palette, Zeros, and members of their coaching staff. New additions include Genza and Jisoo from QG, along with Scary and former Percen Esports coach JackieWind joining the coaching ranks.

While these acquisitions bring fresh talent, analysts remain skeptical about their ability to fill the void left by the departing players. The pressure now rests on veteran players Levi and Dia1 to carry the team through this transitional period. Will they be able to rally the team and regain their former glory?

Team Flash also underwent significant changes. Despite their high-profile acquisitions of Palette and Naul, both players struggled to perform at the Mid-Season Cup 2020. Palette’s performance has noticeably declined since his departure from GAM Esports, raising concerns about his consistency.

Naul faced even harsher criticism, struggling to keep up with other mid-laners in the tournament. However, the team retains hope in their Korean import, Profit, who is expected to be a key contributor. The question remains whether Team Flash can effectively integrate their new roster and overcome their recent struggles.

EVOS Esports, on the other hand, made a single, yet impactful change by acquiring top laner “Ma Vương” Zeros. Previously considered a weak point for the team, the top lane is now bolstered by Zeros’ aggressive playstyle and mechanical prowess. This addition significantly strengthens EVOS Esports across the board.

With Zeros leading the charge, EVOS Esports, under the guidance of coach Violet, is poised to challenge the reigning champions and become a serious contender for the VCS Summer 2020 title. The team’s improved roster makes them a formidable opponent for Team Flash and GAM Esports.

The VCS Summer 2020 kicks off next weekend, with matches taking place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The stage is set for an intense battle for supremacy as these revamped rosters clash in what promises to be an action-packed summer split. Which team will rise to the top? Only time will tell.
