Scientists have discovered a structure of large rocks arranged like the Stonehenge megalithic monument, but not in England but at the bottom of Lake Michigan, USA. Although this structure was discovered in 2007, very few people know about its existence.

Professor Mark Hooley is trying to create computer models of this rock in the hope of helping determine the origin of the painting. Retired restorer Charles Cleland, of the University of Michigan’s Great Lakes archeology and ethnology department, remains skeptical about the discovery and believes that such sculptures are extremely rare in the Upper Midwest region of the country.
