A “special operations task force” (the specific branch was unknown, but it could have been the Rangers, since the missing squadron was the Army) was sent to investigate. They followed a rough, mountainous path until they reached the entrance to a large cave, where they discovered scattered pieces of broken American military equipment and equipment.
As the task force prepared to explore the depths of the cave, a humanoid creature approximately 12 to 15 feet tall with red hair, six fingers, and double teeth emerged and attacked the soldiers. This giant impaled one of the squad members, known as ‘Dan’, with a massive spear before attacking the rest of the team. It reportedly took 30 seconds of sustained gunfire to subdue the creature.
The squad was well armed, equipped with fully automatic M4 carbines, semi-automatic “reconnaissance carbines,” and M107 Barrett anti-materiel rifles firing .50 BMG rounds. Concentrating this level of firepower on a single target for even a second, let alone thirty, would have caused significant damage.
According to witnesses, the giant wore coverings on his feet, similar to moccasins made of canvas or animal skin, and emitted a smell similar to that of decomposing bodies. The creature’s body was transported back to the squadron base via helicopter and net, then loaded onto a ship and taken away, never to be seen again.
Upon their return, the soldiers were asked to sign confidentiality agreements to prevent them from sharing details of their encounter. The witness explained that he decided to break his silence because he believed that “people have the right to know what is happening on our planet.”
